Joakim Tangfelt

My name is Joakim Tangfelt and I am 31 years old. My parents have always been active in different ways in agility. With a mother competing and a father judging you can basically say I was born into the sport.

2007 I started competing and it all really took off when I got my poodle Amiga. With her I have been competing at several international championships achieving good results. Today we have three dogs in the family, an old Border collie who is now retired and two dogs (a border collie and a working cocker) who mainly compete with my wife.

2014 I became a judge. The big driving force for me has always been the course design, then the judging has become a bonus. A wonderful bonus, with all the countries and people I have met out in Europe and the world.

I have always had the goal of one day refereeing AWC, but to be able to judge AWC at home is something I could never have dreamed of. I will really enjoy it and I hope that others will do the same regardless of whether you participate or is audience.

Fanny Gott

My name is Fanny Gott and I've been involved in agility since the mid-nineties. I started my dog training career doing mostly obedience, but have competed primarily in agility for almost 20 years. I have competed in grade 3 with large, medium, and small dogs – border collies, working cocker spaniels, and a basset fauve de Bretagne.

As a competitor, I won the Swedish Championship in 2023 and have been on the Swedish team multiple times. I work as a professional dog trainer, mostly focused on agility.

I have been judging since 2018 and I enjoy designing fun and flowy courses that challenge dog training skills.

Judging AWC 2025 in Sweden is a huge honor and I look forward to making it the best agility party ever.

Stefanie Semkat

I started agility in 1997 in South Germany and competed first with a Brittany Spaniel.

After competing several years I was asked by a friend if I want to become judge and this is what I do now since 2003.

As a competitor I competed with different breeds in all height categories over the years, with several dogs I took part at the German Championship.

As a judge I judged in almost every European country, also national championships and tryouts. But I also had the honour to judge in Japan, Singapore, Thailand, the USA and Mexico.

At the moment we have 3 Border Collies at home, one competing in class 3 and the other two in class 1.

One of my judging highlights was to judge the EO 2023 in Denmark. I am looking forward to the AWC in Kalmar which will be for sure another very special highlight in my judging career.

Best regards
Stefanie

Vittorio Papavero

My name is Vittorio Papavero, living in Bracciano, near Rome with my family, where our lives are completely about dogs.

We run two dog activity centers, a kennel where we breed Shetland Sheepdog and working line Tervuren and we also organise several agility events per year, from small local competitions to big international events like Rome Agility Festival and ProsecCup in Treviso.

My dog adventure started in 1991 and a year later I made my debut in agility with my Dobermann "Sheeba". With Sheeba I was part of the Italian team in 1993 (Linz Austria) and we became Vice World Champion as Italian Team at the very first AWC ever, held in Switzerland in 1996.

I have been part of the Italian team over ten times, with 5 dogs of 4 different breeds: Dobermann, 2 Border Collies, Cocker Spaniel and a Tervuren.
With this Tervuren we won the FMBB World Championship in 2007.

From 2015 to 2017 I proudly was chosen to be the team leader for EO and AWC. In 2015 I was also team leader of the junior national team.

Since the very beginning I have a great passion for designing and building agility courses, but it wasn't until 2015 that I decided to become a judge.

Of course the most emotionally precious invitation so far was to judge FMBB 2022 in Karpenessi, Greece . An event to which I have deep rooted ties being a former World Champion and a breeder of Tervuren.

Another event that I hold dear and that enjoyed a lot is the Nordic Championship in Denmark. An exciting and adrenaline-filled event.

I don't normally post courses very often but from now on I'll try to do it on Fb agilitycourses or on my page Vittorio Papavero.
